what are you?
Administrator on 08 Jul 2005 | Web
working on a new self motivated project titled whatareyou.
the goals are two-fold:
1. to learn CSS (cascading style sheets). this has been foremost on my mind lately and (as usual) i feel a bit late in the game. the work people are doing in CSS is really incredible. it allows for complete design control and can be dynamically driven within an interactive site.
2. to experiment in the interactivity of the web. what role will the web play in the future of communication? how do people preserve (and evolve to perceive) the web as a daily form of not just exhibitionism but of practical, useful communication.
so check it out. take a look. and let me know your thoughts on the subject.

So time stands still. Stasis. Sounds of ‘Grinding Halt’ by The Cure plays in the distance and there are but 3 items in motion in my world right now; my right mouse finger and typing hand, both eyeballs, and my monitor.
My vision is interrupted randomly with static flashbacks of forced feedback of times long ago. The trailerpark. The little yellow pickup truck. Hair dye. a Drum machine. a New Order ’substance’ cover. Honda Spree. Cold chills run up my spine as a scene shocks my vision: cuddling up in the back of a lifted 4×4 en route to school. a T-Shirt design. Braces, no braces. My hair on the floor. Onward to needles full of insulin. Knott’s Berry Farm. Dad’s business card with a little fish. Witnessing. a few tracts scattered about my bag.
We were once friends. Who am I?
