The other night Nadia and I were lying in bed laughing. It was like a sleep over. Trying not to be too loud made us laugh harder. Burying our faces in our pillows, chucking over stupid little things we kept saying. And just this morning I realized how time has strengthened our lives together. We are like children running through a summer field. We are like the old couple on the porch in the evening. And there’s no where I’d rather be then right there, in that place, at that moment laughing in bed with her.
