It’s been doomly overcast as of late. But the sun is out. Summer is hear. I’m ready to be outside; for the sunburn, shorts and the swimming pool. We got a bistro set, a bench and some new potted flowers for the porch. Bring on the heat i say!

We had a Lost party last night at a fellow coworkers place, The Rabbit hatch. Appropriately named so because of a number of domesticated (and maybe even genetically altered?) fluffy bunnies hopping around the place. I’ll admit it, bunnies are cute.

And yes, we’re camping in Big Bear the weekend of Annlynn’s concert in the park. Grab your bag, some firewood and marshmallows. This is going to be great!

last week the boys came through town on their road trip. I woke up early monday morning to nat, sean, tyler and curt asleep in the living room. they hustled on out of town to continue there trek to the north west. hopefully we’ll spend more time together on the returning leg of the journey.

nadia and i (along with the rest of the fam) walked/ran in the american cancer society’s relay for life this last weekend. dan, nadia’ uncle, died last year of cancer. he was a husband, father, grandfather and hero to the family. so mandy, his daughter, put together a team to run in the relay. i think we should all put together a team for the event next year.
