sigh…

I’ve been having a mountain of computer problems lately. Music, all my design work, and 3.5 years of pictures hang delicately in the balance. But I won’t bore you with the details. Simply put, these problems leave me with a desire to throw myself (and said machine) out the window. I’ll keep you posted.

Been listening to Pinback, Silversun Pickups and just a hint of Owen (is it just me or this guy just trying to pick up babes?)

Looking forward to Eragon (the movie) and Christmas down south. Ewan is SOOOO excited! He was pushing me around on my skateboard at the park yelling “Merry Christmas!”.

And I’ve been skating! Ollies and pop shove-its to my hearts content up and the local school. Look out Mr. Hawk. I’ll be kicking my board up and grabbing it (like Michael J. Fox in Back to the Future) in no time.

an update from the north

Halloween was a hit! Ewan is entering the prime age of true kiddom. Loving to dress up, carve pumpkins, get candy and (of course) eating from the spoils of the nights gathering. Every year the holidays become more magical as he begins to understand what’s going on. He’s even been looking through the Lego catalog for Christmas gift ideas.

The boy is also 90% diaper free! I can’t tell you how excited we are about this.

I’m think about skating more often. You know, half pipe, knee pads, sweaty butt. Good times. It has been such a big part of my life for so long that, regardless of age, I want it to endure. So I’m going to be that 40 year old guy, horribly uncool and out of fashion that’s skating all by himself. Maybe I should get some neon green short shorts, some vision street wear hi tops and a powell shirt. What do you think?
