I rode my bike to work today. Tour De Josh. 20 miles of grueling road, aching muscles and mind blowing determination. I’m sure most commuters mistook me for Lance.

OK. Actually not that intense. But here are a few not worthy observations.

1. My ass is killing me!
2. Dogs get far too much pleasure at barking as they pass in the back of a truck. Scaring me to death, Tails wagging in delight.
3. Compared to all the cars passing you feel like you’re going about as fast as molasses.
4. But going as fast as molasses you get to enjoy what’s around you. And that’s good.

So here’s to our surroundings. Don’t let them go neglected. Take a walk. Ride a bike. Play at the park.
