the day is not over but so far shaping up pretty good. I am going to watch some great cinema today also.
Whats your list?
Wonderful Mr. Black. waltzing through the Interpol library has been a good choice for the morning. I recently purchased an album by Great lake Swimmers, Ongiara, that might hit the spot. Then on to a little Chad VanGaalen/Mark Kozelek/M. Ward to pep up the early-mid afternoon. (But not too much mind you. Don’t want to spoil the rainy mood.) And then tentatively top things off with some Joy Division. It’s the ironic-backwards-full-circle if you will.
And a great movie (or three) is a perfect rainy day call. I’m thinking another list is in order.
Sigur Rós. Hands down.
