We were hosts to a garage sale over the weekend. Brenda, a high school girl here in SR, lost her mom to breast cancer. So she’s been busy raising money to battle the disease. The sale was a huge success. She raised close to $800. The buyers were swarming from the wee hours of the morn. My mom gets the trophy for most aggressive sales person. And Ewan gets the most aggressive rookie sales person.
And of course the garage sale tables are a photo enthusiasts dream. Theres something to be said for the collection(s) of oddities & discarded items of our lives. One man’s trash is another man’s canvas.
Loved the photo set. Things we once loved and cherished become our clutter and is discarded. Let me tell you that I took my old love in high school and turned it into my new joy.
