sticks & stones

Went for ride in Annandale Park yesterday. The ride up was good. Beautiful day and feeling strong. But the ride down proved to be a bit more challenging. Coming off a berm, a little too hard on the brakes and my bike slid out from under me to the left. I went right toward the slop side off the mountain coming down full force on my shoulder. It only took a moment to realize that something was broken.

Hoofed it down the trail with help from The Chad. Came out of the ER with some pain meds & a sling. Looks like I’ve got a few uncomfortable weeks ahead of me.

So keep it safe out there kids. Never take your body for granted. And take a spin around the block for me.

  1. The clavicle! That’s my second favorite bone in the body, the first being the femur. I’m sorry Josh, that’s lame. What a great w-ray though, is that actually yours? If so, a very clean and respectable break my friend.

  2. Well…josh now knows…
Just because you don’t believe in gravity doesn’t mean it doesn’t believe in you

  3. I cut those guys out of some old womens drops so they are super narrow. I have some cinelli drops I need a stem for so I can go on long rides. Hope that your healing up nicely.

We should go on a bike tour and meet in the middle on the coast hang out and ride home?
