When I was in Jr. high I saw a documentary on bike messengers in NYC. And ever since I’ve been somewhat enamored with them. These guys are reckless, ballsy, dangerous and (to be very honest) totally inspiring.
p.s. I’m always happy to see the random fixed gear rider sporting a helmet.

And I’m assuming they’ve got some sort of helmet cam set up to get the shots they do. But if the camera man’s line of sight is on the rider while still trying to find his own route he’s even more nuts than them!

It really is inspiring. I rode one for a couple months over the summer, until Pauly needed it back, and it was truly awesome once I got the hang of it. I needs one.

This video completely blew my mind; I can’t imagine doing the crazy stuff they do.
