It’s been ages since I’ve approached the blogsphere with any sort of diligence. Seems like the less I read the less I write. The recent upswing in the “neighborhood” has me thinking about it. I’ve often criticize the endeavor as slightly too exhibitionist or showy. But after reading a post from a loved I’m always glad it’s there. And why wouldn’t I be? These are people I care for. The random thoughts, the ideas, the rants. All of it is beautiful. With the geographical distance between most of us this is the closest it gets to a black & mild on the porch.
Another struggle I have is the presentation. I seems to take me forever to craft a post. With family, life and work all on the front burners, giving any amount of effort feels impossible. Let alone “crafty” effort. So I’m going to try write more conscious flow. We’ll see how it goes as I get all Kerouac in this shiznit.
But first, is there anybody even out there with any desire to dust off the Talbot blog? Sound off in the comments and let’s see where this party goes?

ya dude get your ass writing already! i want to see some really exhibitionist and showy shit on here soon. besides, it’s not so self centered when you know that your good friends want to know all the details anyway and that is the only reason we all do this right? ah man i miss you. and now i have a strange urge for a black and mild in the old back yard! btw think i’m going to give the surfing thing another go. feel free to laugh out loud at the comedy that will soon ensue at my expense.
Kerouac is good but you could tell he was on uppers. I love all of this stuff because I’m always trying to relate cause I think it makes me feel normal.
I think of the video you posted of your son getting the award in class and I’m glad I saw it. I really thought about what his teacher said about him and keep it in mind. I like reading your facespace stuff
